Sentinel Ag Services Pty Ltd (Sentinel) is an information technology company who provides technology services to businesses that purchase and/or raise livestock and sell livestock and/or meat products.
From time to time, those businesses may enter into a finance agreement with a financier (Financier) under which the business (Borrower) is obliged to provide information to the Financier on an ongoing basis (Required Information). Sentinel’s services are provided to the Borrower to assist the Borrower to provide Required Information in a reliable form.
Sentinel provides its services to the Borrower under a technology agreement between Sentinel and the Borrower. Sentinel submits its tax invoices directly to the Borrower for its services (ie Sentinel is not paid any trailing commissions by the Financier). If a Financier requests an agreement between Sentinel and the Financier, Sentinel will consider the request on a case-by-case basis (though this is not Sentinel’s preferred approach).
Sentinel is not a lender or a finance broker and does not participate in any subordinated debt structures. Sentinel does not provide credit services (or advice services or recommendations in relation to finance arrangements). Any negotiation of the commercial matters and/or the finance agreement are solely between the Financier and the Borrower (and/or their advisors).
If Sentinel introduces the Borrower and the Financier to each other, it does so as a mere referral and Sentinel will not be entitled to any referral fees from either the Borrower or the Financier.

Borrowers do not need to replace their Enterprise Management System with the Sentinel System. The Sentinel System simply receives Base Information from the Borrowers Enterprise Management System and efficiently turns it into the Required Information Report of the Financier.
It is also important to note that Sentinel does not access the Financier’s computer systems and the Financier does not access Sentinel’s computer systems. This simplifies and enhances system security for Sentinel and the Financier.
